To guide clients towards achieving change, Laura provides a non-judgmental, collaborative, and client-centered environment. She is passionate about developing a strong therapeutic relationship to ensure a safe environment not only to explore serious life events/stressors but to also laugh and explore individual's strengths. In addition, Laura utilizes theoretical orientations including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral, behavioral, and psychodynamic approaches. The collection of these techniques aid client's in developing awareness of current symptoms, exploring origins of symptoms, and acquiring new skills to cope with symptoms. 

Laura specializes in working with adolescents (14 years and older) and adults who are experiencing a wide range of life events such as substance use and abuse, anxiety, depression, life stressors, acute/chronic/complex trauma, developmental disorders, intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and/or behavioral concerns. Laura would not be the best fit for individuals currently suicidal, experiencing eating disorders, or diagnosed with a personality disorder.
